Project A - Journal Entry #1

Not much of significance happened in the process of going through the initial assignments up until the step of changing a tile sprite. Due to searching in the wrong sections of the editor for a little while, I ended up thinking that my version of Unity is simply old and that I would run into similar issues continually throughout the semester, which is why I ended up downloading a new version, trying to convert the work-in-progress into the new version, failing, uninstalling the old version in hopes of automatic reconfiguring, finding out the sample platformer (even if a new project is made) requires the version I just uninstalled, reinstalling and finally proceeding to find the original issue solved 5 minutes into the renewed process.
The process overall gave me little more to mention. The first half of the assignment was consuming content and I mostly breezed through the second half. Altogether, it took around 3.5 hours. Some of the changes could have more polish to them, but I didn't think that getting the platformer into a state I would like would be fiesable with my current skillset. There was simply too much about the game that I didn't like, so I treated it as a tech demo.
